Aya Suzuno (鈴野 綾, Suzuno Aya) is the classmate/friend of Akira Nikaidō and Kengo Asamura.

Appearance

Aya is a teenage girl of average height with shoulder-length messy black hair that is clipped together by two pink hair clips on the left side and brown eyes.

She is generally seen wearing her school's uniform.

Personality

Aya has a direct personality who has a strong sense of justice, but she is also clever and smart at the same time. Because of her high moral, she is part of the disciplinary committee and sometimes known as "Aya Suzuno; the Demon Disciplinarian".

Background

Aya attends the same school as Akira Nikaidō and Kengo Asamura. At home, she lives with her mother, father, and grandfather. Her talent behind the sword comes from her grandfather.

As a prefect, she is always stuck with the job to have Akira and sometimes Kengo attend class. She even looks around for them when they're not at the rooftop, missing some classes in the process. Aya to Akira and Kengo dislike has a bit of a stalker habit to follow them, making sure they aren't doing anything bad till she later founds out what Akira was really doing lately and joins the fight against Kokuchi and Homurabi after certain events.

After Aya proves capabilities, Shirogane gives her Kuresame; a bracelet that can turn into a gauntlet and sword when Aya fights Kokuchi. In the later manga chapters, Aya wields Kuresame with two swords instead of the original one.

Etymology

• The name Aya means "design" (綾).
